The Red Scrolls of Magic by Wesley Chu, Cassandra Clare

5.0

I have been a fan of [a:Cassandra Clare|150038|Cassandra Clare|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1270502031p2/150038.jpg] for years. Ever since 2013, actually. And, while all of her books are heavily anticipated by her readers, I didn't know about this RSOM until a week before it came out (Note: I am typically one of the first people to know about TSC news.)

It took me about 50 pages to really get invested in the plot, however, as a Book!Malec shipper, I was all about the fluff.

Clare and Chu did an amazing job blending the fluff with action and plot. As always, the representation in this book was on point. I highly recommend reading RSOM.
