A very powerful memoir dedicated to the author’s life in poverty, religious devotion, and appeasing a father who is looking for Revelations.
While at points it does jump around and skip some parts I would’ve wanted to hear more about, the author’s prose was incredibly moving and I was deeply engrossed with her struggles throughout.
