Inner monologues that are instantly relatable, squad goals, running jokes, tons of tropes… this steamy book from @authorvaleriepepper brings a lot! Price is liked by everyone, a firefighter, gorgeous, and oblivious to the decade long crush Jodi has been carrying for him. Jodi’s a small business owner, perpetually overlooked, and assumes he’s way out of her league. They both have insecurities to overcome, and when a fire forces them together they finally take a chance - on themselves and on each other.
With a whole gossiping small-town full of side characters, and tons of steamy moments it’s easy to get caught up in the pages. Be aware - the on page spicy is fiery do NOT be deceived by that sweet cover, Price’s dirty mouth is NSFW if you blush like Jodi
