Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
this book was nothing short of amazing. it pretty much immediately became one of my absolute favorites. I completely understand why the format doesn’t work for people but the story couldn’t be told in the same way in any other form and land the same way.
this book was moving and unexpected. as much as it’s about sex, drugs, and rock & roll, it was also about marriage and passion and addiction. it gave me such a visceral reaction and I was in tears by the end of it. TJR created an absolute work of art.
i’ll leave you with this: I finally have an answer for when someone asks what book I’d bring if I was stranded on a desert island.
