Another great Anita story. Much shorter than the past couple of novels, but don't dismiss it due to it's size! So much happens and Anita really gets an indepth look into her various powers. Nice to see Anita back "on the job" doing what comes natural, raising the dead. Felt lucky to get an "extra" Anita book this year. Also Hamilton's afterword is great for those who follow her work and have the usual questions about where an author get's their inspiration. But don't peak because there are some spoilers from the story that she references.
