Post-Apocalyptic Nomadic Warriors by Benjamin Wallace

3.0

This book sets out to be a fun, unique take on the dystopian future genre, and more or less succeeds. It's definitely fast-moving with no time to get bored, and the story and characters have a few surprises in store to keep things interesting too. It's certainly not aiming to say anything too deep or profound, and is not always as funny as it might hope to be, but I didn't mind it. Some of the scenes, such as the plant zombies in Dallas, and the bad guy soldiers on the armoured truck, are quite horrific, but in the end the good guys win (that's not really a spoiler, as you can see it coming from several miles off) and it's not a bad read.
