A perfect hospital recovery book - easy to read, exciting, historically interesting. Slowly the depth of character of the narrator is revealed through first-person present narration of his past, and his complex set of morals offered for consideration. The loud raucous arguments the author leaves in the words of other characters for us to consider, making us grateful for our patron, Thomas Cromwell. Long live the Chancellor!
