Whole by A.M. Arthur
5.0
**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
Whole is the fifth installment of the Breaking Free series. Whole is Morris and Jaysan's book.
Morris has been working for Ronin as a paralegal. He isn't interested in mating or the bond. When tragedy strikes and he's left carrying for his nephew, he's lost and doesn't know what to do. Thankfully everyone steps in to help him in anyway they can. When he agrees to hire a govern for Aeron he never expects who comes to his door.
Jaysan is trying to move on after everything. He knows he has a lot to be thankful for but he still feels like something is missing. He has so much regret about giving his son up for adoption. He knows putting himself in dangerous situations isn't the best idea but when the year birthday of his so comes around he can't handle the emptiness he feels inside. After coming home bloody and bruised he knows he needs to stop his destructive ways. Kell telling him about the job to govern a baby maybe just want he needs.
The chemistry between Morris and Jaysan is a slow build. I love the way they learn to trust each other and it isn't a insta love because of the mating bond they both feel. Jaysan wasn't one of my favorite characters in past books but Whole has changed that opinion of him.
I can't wait to see where book 6 takes this group next!
