interesting but it seemed too eager to prove that hospitals were abusing people who were not even mentally ill, which is definitely sometimes the case, but they also abused people who were mentally ill and probably needed inpatient care. it wouldn't have detracted from the exploration of psychiatric abuse to examine how mentally ill people in desperate need of treatment were at best let down by the system.
