i would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a history of the situation in Palestine and Israel. it is pretty academic so felt a bit dense at times, and it took me a while to get through and really feel like ive understood, but its completely worth it. the author has a high level of expertise in this area, being part of the Palestinian delegation at the 1991 Madrid peace conference as the first example that comes to my mind. his insights are invaluable to making sense of this long history
