As a sequel this truly lived up to expectations and I am so happy to have discovered this series and this incredible author. I felt there was a little bit too much recap at the beginning, and also that some things weren't fleshed out quite as masterfully as they were in the first novel, but that's me being really picky. I loved this book, loved this series and can't wait to read the third installment.
