October 2024 Re-read for my book club! My opinions stayed the same as the first time I read this book and I'm excited to continue on!
This was such a fun read! I couldn't decide what to read next so I asked my girlfriend to pick me a book off our shelves and this is what she picked - and it was about time I read it! This has the perfect cosy autumnal vibes that will be perfect for reading around October, and the world building was so immersive, I loved it so much! Of course, the characters were a standout for me. I loved both the romance and the friendships equally and the family dynamics were honestly so comforting to read as the love between them was palpable. I wish we had had a few more scenes with Gareth in them just to hammer home that he's the bad guy but overall I really enjoyed my time reading this and can't wait to pick up the other books in the series!
