There are dark stories about the worst of humanity and then there is this.
It reads like an allegorical damnation of capitalism and dehumanization and the worst things we are capable of with their justification. The story wastes no time throwing you in the horrifying deep end of this dystopia.
This story is not for the faint of heart or the squeamish. I think the story benefitted from the banal brutality but it does make it difficult to recommend.
