Went in expecting a house with a mysterious past or a buyer with a secret. Definitely was not expecting a psychopathic 10 year old . I suspected from the first SET talk that the presenter was not Millie but all my theories were incorrect.
I really enjoyed the mix of big buildups (e.g., the entire plot) with smaller twists (Peter being the psychopath rather than Meddie ) and shocking revelations just thrown in with no warning (Peter casually killing Tom)
Was a bit longer than it needed to be in the middle but the ending made it worthwhile. I read so many thrillers that I immediately forget but know this one will stick with me!
