Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Charles W. Goddard

3.0

ok dont hate me but i skimmed the last third of this book i truly just lost all of my will to care for this guy. the first 150 pages were SO GOOD. then it was boring. then the middle was SO GOOD. then it was so boring and i lost all interest. this is purely a me-thing, this book is objectively good but i dont care. call me an illiterate brainless booktok gooner but i’d rather read faerie smut for the rest of my life than open this again :/ classics aren’t my thing. or maybe it’s just dostoevsky. but i think all of you people on here saying this is the best thing you’ve ever read have either read 3 books ever or are trying to be pretentious
