I listened to the audio while following along in ebook ... barely!
I just could NOT get into this book ... the setting and characters fell flat for me.
I loved the concept, I mean it is common in other mystery/thrillers ... but this one just was not it!
I found myself bored, getting taken out of the story constantly ... and then when I thought I was understanding something, I got taken out of it again.
I truly wanted to love this 🥹
