Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson

3.0

a la Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants... except there are no pants and no traveling. it's a story about three teen-aged girls and their developing friendship. the setting is a peach farm and each of the girls is a fairly stereotypical character: the rich pretty one, the promiscuous brave one, and the chubby nice one. this part bothers me especially the characterization of the promiscuous one. the differences in their personalities are a little too pat to be authentic. it's formulaic, but enjoyable if you like that kind of candy.
