Flowers from the Black Sea by A.B. Decker, A.B. Decker

5.0

Flowers From the Black Sea was a wonderful thriller which hooked me right from the start. I loved Decker’s writing style and it suited the thriller genre so well. It’s punchy and gripping at the same time, that said it does take a little while to build up. Personally I think that adds to the novel though. We are almost lead into a false sense of security that novel will perhaps not be high octane but that is soon changed when the pace picks up.

The characters are all interesting and well developed, particularly for a thriller were sometimes characters are left to be one dimensional, not so for Decker. I obviously avoid spoilers but it’s safe to say if you like thrillers you will enjoy this one. It’s paced well, has a tightly woven plot and good characters as well!

Thank you so much to Zooloo’s Book Tours, Troubadour/The Book Guild and the author for my copy. My review is left voluntarily and is honest.
