Grimm Tales for Young and Old by Philip Pullman
2.0
The best parts of this book are Philip Pullman's introduction and individual tale commentary. I wish he would have put more of his own flavor into each story because it was quite clearly improved when he did.
I read this book incredibly slowly because each story is basically the same and it was hard to get through more than a few at a time due to boredom. Fifty stories is forty too many and incredibly tedious.
