This is one of the saddest books I have ever read. So, of course, I loved it. I had to sit in my bathroom and sob for a while after I finished it. Any book that can make me feel that deeply is a 5-star. I loved this book; I loved reading from the dog's point of view; I LOVED the ending, even though it made me cry harder. I highly recommend to anyone, but especially dog-lovers.
