All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir

5.0

The thing I love the most about Sabaa’s writing is how much her stories carry meaning with it.

How even the title of the book has a whole explanation behind it.

How even though this is a story about two teenagers and their experiences, there’s a whole theory of a life lesson behind it.

And how she delivers the story and impacts you in the strongest way possible. Especially in sad scenes, she will write just one sentence of a little random detail in the situation that will immediately get your tear bags producing.

There’s a lot of books in YA of angsty teenagers grieving- like All The Bright Places, The Sky is Everywhere or some John Green. It’s a very saturated trope that I got tired of some years ago.

If you’re like me, you might be scared to try this book.
But let me tell you All My Rage is SO much more than that. SO much more. Can’t even include this book in the same category as the others.

Sabaa Tahir, thank you for this masterpiece.
