The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz
4.0
This was billed as a mystery, which is a bit wrong because anyone over the age of 10 is going to figure out the two big who-done-its pretty much immediately. However, it's a fun read with lots of humor and a lively use of words. I'm looking forward to reading the sequels.
"My grimy host then guided me to a thirty-year-old plaid couch that could exfoliate your skin through your clothes. He sat down across from me, lit a cigarette, and smiled with anticipation, as if being interviewed about a missing adolescent was kind of like the Q&A session of the Miss America pageant."
