I was a little disappointed by this one, it wasn't quite what I thought it was going to be. Once we hit around the 50-60% mark the plot definitely started to get more interesting to me and I felt like I wanted to pick it up. The book felt a little off balance in places and it kinda put me off. I feel like the ending not only left us with a little hanger but also concluded quite well, so I'm wondering where the rest of the series is going to go because to me personally I don't feel like we've been left we anything to go off with. The characters are interesting and there are many dynamics at play, I did see the twist coming quite early on, so it didn't take me by surprise. I'll definitely still check out the rest of the series but I'm not in any rush to do so.
