Little Mercies
by Heather Gudenkauf
Heather Gudenkauf is one of my favorite authors of all time. Her books always captivate and move me, they inevitably suck me in immediately. I love how she splits points of view and tells the story completely from each.
All of that being said, this is easily my least favorite of the books I've read by her. I just...didn't like either view point. I didn't feel for either of them and I didn't particularly care what happened. Maybe that seems harsh since one was a runaway child and one was a mother who's child was in the hospital. But I just... Meh? It won't stick with me as a memorable story with characters who touched me.
