"Do not boast, old woman. Your death sits in that cage and hears you."

This was such a great book. I have fond memories of watching the animated movie as a child and it was just so great to be back in the world of the last unicorn.

The novel had some more content that was skipped out of the movie adaptation so it was enjoyable to have extra content for the first time.

I also listened to a dramatic reading from a YouTube channel ( https://shorturl.at/hknxL ) which was fantastic and I would highly recommend.

This was so whimsical and fantastical, but also quite heartbreaking and sorrowful, as our last unicorn goes on a journey to find her people, is captured, enslaved, ensorcelled and more.

It was beautiful written and was such a fantastic experience. I wish I had my own copy.
