The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

4.0

this took me a little longer than i would've liked to finish but this book was structured in a similar way to the first novel in the series in which there were several instances of different places and monsters. it's funny how rereading this at an older age my feelings about characters have changed, and i really feel so strongly about nico ): i love that kid. it was also nice to see rachel playing a part in the story, she's a pretty cool character. i didn't like how her and annabeth had some tension between them though. even if it's because of both of them liking percy can't we just let girls get along well ? they're both amazing and have complementary interests. the bit about pan was really emotional, and the book ended off on a good spot for anticipation of the next.
