Doing the Math: A Small Town Romance by Shae Sanders

This was so freaking cute, I can't even stand it. I'm a city girl but something about small towns just makes me smile. The references to how Black farmers have historically been treated gave me Queen Sugar vibes in the best way.

Dia and Vin couldn't have been more different, but their dynamic and chemistry was palpable from the jump. They both had their preconceptions about each other, but they were able to work through them. They could both be a little irritating at times, but it was obvious they were both dealing with some stuff from their past. Vin seemed to come around more quickly than Dia, but I loved that she was open to new experiences with him. Her interactions with the bunny and Rainbow were very cute and funny.

I would have liked a little bit more explanation about Dia's relationship with her parents because it was a little odd. The limited interactions she had with them made me curious what happened that they were kind of detached.

I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.
