Anxious People by Fredrik Backman
5.0

Ok. My first fully-read Backman book.

I'm saying that because I've tried to read him before but always in the wrong place and at the wrong time. Got a chance to check "A Man Called Ove" movie once too.

Now that I can spare some time during evening walks listening to Audible, I can assure you that the praise for him is justifiable.

It was deliciously good! Exaggerated at times but witty and VERY swedish. I even got a little dizzy because of how many plot twists it had. I only wish I could tell you more about them - BUT - it's truly something that you have to experience yourself. For such a shortie (10 hrs in audiobook format) it brings up a whole lot of questions and reflections on today's society. It excruciatingly explores numbers of personalities and how they cope with inevitable reality of life.

The characters cast, even though quite crowded, was unforgettable.

We are all anxious, for our own reasons.
