i genuinely found this book very enjoyable and not at all tedious to read as i originally thought (after seeing the multitudes of descriptive paragraphs) and the prose was lovely and familiar. i thought that the plot was imaginative and engrossing and our protagonist follows the journey and changes his ways accordingly. i can see his motivation for change and subsequent work towards kindness as a good moral of the story that everyone can take away after reading, and makes a christmas carol all the more convincing as a classic, especially since i think it promotes the idea that people shouldnt be afraid to change even if they might be pressured to fit into a metaphorical box by friends and family.
