i was under the impression this book would be this tense mystery, filled with suspense and plot twists. but it was just a repetitive, jumbled mess. and the ONE plot twist was literally so, lame? boring? i don’t know.
the book was advertised as a mystery/thriller. the cover literally says, “lily wants to go home. her friends want to get even.” lies upon lies. the way they got “even” was in a way my 10 year old cousin would behave.
i was just trying to get through it. none of the characters were likeable and i felt so detached from them if one had dropped dead i feel i would have audibly went “eh.”
i liked natasha’s prius more than i liked this story, and all the car did was drive. anyway.
also the girls were just annoying, like did they even use their brains at all this entire novel????
