I’m a runner, so I really got into this book. Loved Mickey, got into her character gradually. I began understanding the struggles and running challenges as she grew up. The tension eith her siblings as they all experienced their father differently was relatable so much. I absolutely adored Bonnie - Mickey’s mom till the very end. Running is about community -
It is about who
Is out there on the streets when you’re about to give up. Her difficulties led her to this point. The finish line and I loved it.
