In the Wreckage

No, really. My friends weren't exaggerating. There was a lot of sex in this book.
I love this author's other books, so I thought I'd give this series a try. I enjoyed In the Wreckage. It wasn't a favorite, but I did like it well enough to continue the series. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think the story would have been better served by cutting back on the number of sex scenes. There was one early on in the book, which was pretty great, and then action until about 42%. At that point, I was wondering if my friends were hyperbolizing. Then we got a multiple session sex scene that lasted almost the next 15%. These guys have some serious stamina! And the sex didn't stop there; not by a long shot. Holy energizer fuck bunnies, Batman!
I also felt the story was a little too insta... They'd barely known each other a week and practically move in together. I know that combat situations can speed bonding, but um... I didn't really buy it.
Still, I have to say, I did enjoy it and will be continuing with the series.
Swiss Navy Lube should sponsor this book...
