I like this series so far. I like the setting and worldbuilding, I like the characters, and I like the principal plot.
I would even like to love it, but there's the point with the twists and surprises. They are so obvious to me that it hurts sometimes. And in-story they only work because the author chooses to let the characters act purposely stupid and doesn't have them ask the logical questions.
But I still have hope for the series and will continue it.
