AHHHHHHH!!! This book was so much scarier and creative than I anticipated - it truly went in directions that I have never seen before in horror. W O W. The stories felt more grounded and yet more surreal than I expected. God, I had to laugh at the resilience though - the main cast faced the scariest once-in-a-lifetime horrors ever and then wake up the next day and just hang out with their families until the next horror.

The mosquito babies had the be the scariest part for me, not only because I have a baby but because it seemed to have nothing to do with spirals, it was just messed up.
