The Name of the Rose
by Umberto Eco
This book has a sentimental value to me as one of my dads favourites and so it will always mean something to me.
Even so, mysterious deaths of monks during the 1300s that need solved? Sign me up.
Full of mystery, intrigue, interesting philosophic and ethic debate, what is moral? What is righteous? Who decides what is good or evil?
The pace is slow but the second half goes all out.
