Lord of the Flies by William Golding

5.0

Lord of the Flies' rate of jumbled but assembled five stars is a mask of my vigorous and yet wary recommendation of the book. This novel is undoubtedly a classic masterpiece that will pass generations of readers with its relevant themes. However, like the characters in the book, this can evoke a different kind of fright that I even felt being hunted like a pig. I will highly recommend this to every classic enthusiast, here's your conch.

The strengths of the novel are its superb usage of symbolism, excellent characterization resonating with both innocence and savagery, accomplished conveying of message about the value of children and the vulnerability of their being, astounding plot progression with sustained elevation of suspense that engage readers through a fright and flight reading experience, genius application of important themes in every chapters, and lastly, the relevance of observing the effects of the two leaderships.
