I couldn't put this down and it is now way too late at night. There really wasn't a single slow moment. The characters are all great and I just love Mrs. Brodigan! I love the little family Arthur has created.
The only thing that really bothered me is this felt a little too short, like maybe there was a bit missing in the middle to show the development of Rory's and Arthur's relationship a little bit more (this was kinda on the edge of instalove). Also I would have read 100 more pages of Rory checking the history of antiques 😅
Also, the magic system is really interesting and I'm excited to see what else we learn in book 2!
