I enjoyed this immensely. I was so glad that a friendship remained at the heart of the book, rather than replying on the trope of friends to lovers. I did enjoy the individual, and communal discussions / meditations on why the friendship didn't develop that way, however. I thought this book was nostalgic, truthful, authentic, and perfectly paced.
