I put a hold on this book a year and a half ago, the hold came in a year ago, and for some reason I didn’t read it until now. Somehow I convinced myself that I wouldn’t actually like it. Why would I ever do that to myself???
I enjoyed this book from the very first chapter, and the enjoyment never wavered!
I think the messages in this book are necessary and frustrating, but not revolutionary. Similar vibes to the “being a woman” monologue in Barbie (which I loved! Just again, nothing new for me). If only we could’ve had Elizabeth Zott’s influence in the 60s (would it have changed anything?). Ah. The patriarchy.
