What a rollercoaster of emotions that was.. I literally could not put it down. It’s safe to say I want a Mike in my life, let’s be honest who wouldn’t?! I was warned in advance that there would be tears and they were right.
Maggie is independent and isn’t afraid to try new career choices that will make her happy. Coming from the past she does it’s not hard to see why she is the way she is.
Mike is exactly as the book says ‘Italian Heartthrob’. And surprisingly a lot more romantic than I was expecting him to be. You normally read a book where the man is really good looking but is usually a massive jerk, arrogant or cocky but Mike is anything but.
There was plenty of surprises I wasn’t expecting to keep me gripped and I overall thoroughly enjoyed the book, so much so that I bought it in hardback before I had even finished the book because this will definitely be one to keep rereading.
