Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher

4.0

Ok, so these books are not quite as good overall as the Dresden series, BUT very enjoyable regardless. It had a few moments where I laughed, there was good forward movement of action, there were some interesting bits of plot going on aaand more viewpoints. I just realized that one thing about these books that make them different is the third person viewpoint as opposed to the usual first person the Dresden series has. This makes it harder for Butcher to throw in his usually fairly hilarious inner monologue jokery. Still manages to throw in a couple zingers though where I was surprised and amused into guffawing.
