You: The Owner's Manual: An Insider's Guide to the Body That Will Make You Healthier and Younger by Michael F. Roizen

2.0

This book is a pretty clear and non-technical bunch of explanations for the various systems in the body - what they all are, and how they work.

I wasn't as impressed with all the RealAge and "what you can do to live younger" stuff - it almost felt woo woo. And while I'm a pretty healthy person, this book made me feel like a slacker. Why am I not taking handfuls of supplements and doing all sorts of things to live forever?!?

I am pretty much going to ignore the diet section, but I have to say that I dog-eared the weight workout section. It has a few short pages of easy dumbbell and stretching moves, ones that you could easily do at home. I always intend to do something like that, but need a plan. This just might work.
