A Court of Wings and Ruin
by Sarah J. Maas
I rated this book 5*... the plot is so addictive and perfectly written all the way from the characters to the location descriptions.
I excitedly dived back into the ACOTAR world.. eager to see what was going to happen... I've missed my bat boys... Azriel is definitely growing on me.
Feyre is definitely becoming a stronger character, blossoming while still trying to figure out the balance between having friends but also being in a position of power, as High Lady.
Cassian and Azriel, what can I say? They are two of my favourite batboys. I have adored you both every time you have popped up in this book, even with all the stress you both cause.
Rhysand, you were my absolute favourite from the way you treat Feyre and your friends down to the very way you command respect from everyone else.. But... you're in 2nd place now after chapter 76... I'm still not recovered from the heartbreak... what a heartbreaking twist!
Tamlin and Jurian, I'm still not sure how I feel about either of you. You both are complicated but also sorts redeemed yourselves. Hopefully, neither of you mess up again in the 2 remaining books, but I won't hold my breath on it.
The characters and the plot definitely get thicker and more emotional in this book, but the way the characters develop, especially Nesta and Elaine, it's definitely worth the heartbreak. They've all moved on so much from the first book. It's incredible.
Chapters 14, 29, and 56... I loved so much... Chapter 76... I'll never forgive you.
I'd highly recommend this book. It's incredibly written with the right amount of plot, drama, romance, and spice.
Onto to the 4th suspiciously thinner book...
