The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn

5/5 Stars

A classic tale of enemies who grow to become lovers – in other words, my absolute favorite.
Anthony Bridgerton is of age and decides this is the year he will marry. He sets high sights on the diamond of the season, for the sole reason that she is intelligent, beautiful, and will breed beautiful children for him. After all, he wants a wife for the title, not someone to fall in love with.
However, standing in the way of the diamond is her older sister, who has a wicked sharp tongue, a personality too bold and forward for their time. Oh, and said sister has the lowest of opinions of the Viscount.

The book is filled with witty exchanges, realistic, lovable characters, and passion… My God, so much passion! If you’re here after binding Bridgerton on Netflix, this book won’t disappoint!
