Circe is interesting because it is not a mythology book with an epic battle driven plot. It’s more so the story of a domesticated Circe who finds her purpose among the nature of her island and becomes a mother; we see Circe more humanized by raising her son and protecting him. Overall it’s a good low stakes story.
