Virtue Hoarders: The Case against the Professional Managerial Class by Catherine Liu

2.75

This book made a few thought-provoking points but also set up false dichotomies.

It pointed out how focus on racism can create divisions which prevents banding together and unionization of working people.

It critiqued To Kill a Mockingbird as a professional "good" white guy protecting the Black man against "bad" white people on welfare. It shames welfare recipiente as dirty, violent.

The book attacks Obama for spending time making Title IX. I thought that was unreasonable.
