Unfortunately, nothing can save a book with cardboard characters. I was a bit intrigued by the park ranger aspect, but all of these characters felt emotionless to the point where I felt like the robot I just read about in my newest book had more heart than this MC.
Sad. Lots of interesting technology, but what’s the point when you don’t give a shit about the character?
