The Ever King blew me away with its captivating enemies to lovers story brimming with war, betrayal, and vengeance. L.J. Andrews skillfully writes an absorbing tale that had me feeling like I was a passenger on the Ever Ship itself.

Livia and Erik's romance was a push and pull of passion, hate and romantic tension. There was a natural connection between them that made their love believable. Erik is a nefarious, ruthless king and Livia, despite having grown up within the comforts of her home and tight-knit family, can't help but be drawn to Erik's darkness. I was astounded at how much their relationship hooked me.

The world building and magic system was phenomenal. The dynamics of the Ever Ship and how it crosses the chasm back and forth between realms was thrilling.

If you're looking to sail away on a sea adventure, then look no further than The Ever Seas duology. The Ever King is a riveting tale with fae, sirens, fated mates, and engaging sea battles.
