Warrior Witch by Danielle L. Jensen
5.0

I'm a blubbering mess right now and won't be okay for a while. This story was so intense and emotional. I love love love the way Danielle wrapped it all up, and loved every second of this final book, but it went alongside an enormous amount of heartbreak I tell you. I'm gutted and broken over some of the things that happened and haven't cried so much over a book in a while.

This trilogy couldn't have gotten a better final installment, despite my heart being broken several times. Despite me having cried like a baby in foetus position for the last 50 pages, making sure I'm not able to see properly for the next hours because my eyes are swollen shut.

I am in awe of Danielle's writing. Her way of story-telling is beyond beautiful. The set of characters in this series has been magnificent, their character development was so well written - I lost my heart and soul to them. The world building is amazingly done and the story was one big adventure from beginning till end. It's filled with plot twists that had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I love how things got wrapped up, not entirely how I was expecting it too happen and there's nothing better than a surprising and perfectly wrapped up ending of a series/trilogy/etc. Warrior Witch definitely was that and more. Reading the last 50 pages in particular felt a bit like reading the epilogue of Clockwork Princess. It was hauntingly beautiful, heartbreaking, hopeful and it thoroughly gutted me in the best way possible.

I cannot recommend this series enough. It was everything I could've wished for in a magical fantasy read with the most amazing set of characters, a terrific world building and amazing writing. I'm still so emotional right now. This story will linger with me for a long time to come and I'll definitely return to it in the future and do a re-read.
