I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. That doesn't change how much I enjoyed it one little bit.
In other series in this universe Marion was a side character that I always wondered what she would have to say. What was she thinking and feeling. In this book S.M. Reine did a wonderful job of answering that for me.
Marion is a super powerful mage but she has lost her memory. She must struggle to figure out who she is and who she can really truly trust. her instincts are good even without her memory and she trusts the handsome doctor (with secrets of his own) who helps her recover. As they venture across the country they become closer and she becomes a much more down to earth girl. Yet, once they reach their destination she learns that things were not what they appeared and her role as the Voice of God is trying to be used in ways she doesn't yet understand. Will she make the correct decisions? Will she pick the handsome doctor or the exuberent fae prince?
I can't wait to find out what will come next for this pair.
